About

Venus Morris Griffin is a single mother of seven, author, award-winning real estate agent, and sought-after motivational speaker based in Augusta, Georgia.

In 2011, her life was upended by a shocking late-night phone call from a stranger—a call that revealed devastating secrets about her husband and thrust her into a fight for survival.

Within months, he was sentenced to forty-five years in prison, leaving Venus—then a stay-at-home mom of six—drowning in debt and scrambling to provide for her family.

With grit, grace, and unwavering faith, Venus transformed crisis into comeback. She built a powerhouse real estate career, becoming Augusta’s top-producing agent with well over $500 million in sales and nearly 2,000 closings. More importantly, she rebuilt her family’s life from the ground up.

Venus now travels nationally, inspiring audiences with her raw, powerful story of resilience and redemption. Her passion lies in helping women overcome adversity, reclaim their worth, and write their own comeback stories.

A portion of proceeds from her speaking engagements supports a scholarship for students with an incarcerated parent—proof that even in the darkest moments, hope and healing are possible.

The Annual Venus Morris Griffin Scholarship Fund

The goal of the Foundation is to expand the reach of the scholarship fund to be able to support more deserving students futures. As well as to have an impact outside of school scholarships alone and affect change in other areas of the lives of those in need.
